How a restaurant builds their e-mail list

J. Enrique Garcia - Tuesday, September 14, 2010 Bookmark and Share

I went to grab some lunch at my favorite restaurant and noticed a sign with a photo of a delicious dish, asking customers to sign up to their e-mail list. The restaurant would send you coupons and discounts so you can bring them with you the next time you go back. On a clipboard they had a sheet of paper asking for your name and email. It took just a few seconds to put my info on it as I waited for my change. This simple strategy works well for any food related industry with a lot of walk in customers. Make sure you are consistent sending those email every month, preferably around the same time of the month.

Another strategy that works well is to have customers fill-out a simple survey which captures their email and birth date. On their birthday, you can send them an offer with a discount if they come in for dinner on that date.

If you’re interested in sign up to send your own email and to build your own customer list, check out our e-mail services page or call us. We’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

If you wish to stay on the safe side, then it is a good call to make the layout and web design miami features on the page easily accessible and simple to understand. Try to use standard coding and avoid over-the-top Flash animations. Some people may have
browser settings that prevent them from viewing Flash, which means you might lose valuable visitors. Try to think how the visitor thinks, and your Website will grow more popular and respected day after day.
